Tri-Part Palm
Tri-Part Palm is a print of a batik painting I painted on rayon. The original image was taken from a photograph that I shot during a visit to the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville, Florida. One of their most unusual collected Palm trees was a cabbage palm that had been struck by lightening and in healing regenerated two additional branches-a very rare thing for a palm tree to do!
